Accurate information from the start helps the team assess your freight request.
Which dimensions and weight should I enter?
Enter the outside dimensions of the packed shipment, including cartons, pallets and protrusions, not just the item. Declare gross weight including packing. Use separate rows for different package sizes and check each unit.
Why does volume affect freight cost?
Large, light packages occupy more space. Some services charge using the greater of actual and dimensional weight. Conversion factors depend on carrier and service; the volume shown here is not a final freight price.
Can I track using a transport reference?
Yes. Select transport-reference tracking. The reference must already be linked to an OAKEN shipment. This is not a global search across every carrier; ownership verification protects shipment information.
What does the tracking map show?
The map illustrates the latest recorded stage and location, not live GPS. Read the event time and written update alongside it. Send a message from the shipment record if you need clarification.
What should I prepare for a quote?
Prepare origin and destination countries/cities, cargo description, package count, weight, dimensions, ready date and special handling. Disclose batteries, fragile cargo and handling restrictions; the freight team must review acceptance and required documents.
